Where do I put in my code? Also what mods do you recomend and why?

Finally got the game installed. After 1 1/2 hours at 34% complete, I just went to bed. When I woke up, the game was already downloaded and installed. I turned the game on, went to options and turned up some graphic settings and it said I needed to restart it. Just like any other game, so no problem there.

Then I realized, I didn't put in my code. I haven't seen a game install without puttin in a code first. So my question is, becuase I had Impulse download and install the game for me, I didn't need to enter a code? In my email confirmation, it told me to use my code. So when and where do I put in the code?

Also so I don't make a new thread, I was told to try out some mods once I get a feel or hang of the game. So what mods do you guys recomend and why?

Thanks for your help guys, I appreciate it.

Your "code" is tied to your Impulse account, so no, you don't have to put it in anywhere. Makes it nice if you want to install it on your laptop, or another computer. Or even just re-installing in general.

The mods I would recommend are Expanded Factions, Updated Weapons, Murteas' Grimoire, and Adventure Content Pack.

Have fun!

Impulse is great.

My favorite mod because the game cannot generate random maps:

Elementerra:  https://forums.elementalgame.com/395529

And runner up is a mod that makes the world less bland:

Adventure Content Pack - this works with 1.11 even though it says it's for 1.1:  https://forums.elementalgame.com/399062

Other than those, browse the Mod forum and see what you like.  :)

Thanks Impinc. I thought I missed something when I was sleeping.

Yes Lord Xia, Impusle is great.

So I don't make a new post, how easy is it to mod the game? Is there a game editor or do I have to go into the files and change it that way?

Mods I use and recommend are...

Updated Weapons

Murteas' Grimoire

Expanded Factions

Artifact Mod

AItweeek

..... I would use Adventure Content Pack but the way the skeles look bugs me :)

There are several editors in game, but honestly these are mostly for creating tiles and effects in conjunction with creating changes to the files. Everything is done with XML currently, so find a file you want to mess with, copy it to the my games/elemental/mods directory and start playing around. The easiest place to start would probably be adding new improvements or items as these are fairly straight forward to add.

Also, once I get version 1.0 out (hopefully in a couple days), it will include Artifact, so one less download.

That will be good. Anything to make my mod folder easier to manage. Just starting a new game with ACP, looking at the pics in the thread the new skeleton model looks great.
