Block, Dodge

Great game so far, but why in the world do the units block and dodge so much.  The units rarely hit their target.  It's really bad and this happens an my side and the enemies side.  I am playing the campaign right now.  Fights last unnecessarily long because of this.

It's a tech race (one of the features not accesible in the campaign but only in sandbox mode), better quality units act the exact opposit; obliterating enemies and armies whilst being nigh invulnerable...

I agree with the OP in the case where i am using mounted archers. My hand gets so tired from all the impatient clicking i am doing, trying to get the morons to shoot while they stand around waiting for the previous enemy carcass to decompose. Then if dodging occurs, I'm like "oh God this is frustrating" click click click click click click click, "just freakin shoot damb you" click click click click..... hand tired, bored, frustrated do we need this idiocy really?? (game version 1.1)

I share you frustrations with getting archers to shoot in battle. That really needs a fix.
End of Pyruvate12's quote

It appears as tho they are waiting for the dying guy to finish dying and fade away? If that is the case, why cant they have the dying guy graphics run in the background instead? But you know, i would sooner have no dying graphics at all if it meant we could get rid of this debilitating delay thing that slowly gnaws away at your patience tiny bit by tiny bit over time compounding into total, complete and utter insane frustration and finally death from a thousand tiny cuts!! (what is dying is game satisfaction)

Well they should probably fix this in the campaign, also is it me or are there no sounds for magic spells?

Hmm, I don't see dodge as being too high. Quite the contrary: it's so low that it's almost useless compared to armor.

I get way, way, way more "blocked" than "dodge"
