Games are saving, but no save games show up to load

As the title says, I can save my games, in the save game window I can see all the save games, autosaves, own saves, end of chapter saves...
But when trying to load a save... there's nothing there?
I took a look around the forum but I found nothing of the sort of there simply being NOT a save to pick from, just problems with loading, but nothing like this.
Further info:
I found the save files in the Saves folder in Documents, so another proof that they've been created without problem.
Also posted the contents of the .err file, not sure if it will be of use, since I'm not "doing" much aside from staring baffled at an empty load game screen
