Mod issue: some armors can't be worn, act as one-use items with no effect. (No defense value associated.)

Not sure what mod this is associated with (my best guess would be ACPv0.961), and some examples are saves linked in this post.  I don't think the armors affected are properly being set to particular slots and they don't appear to have any defense value associated with them.  So they are currently one-use items with no effect.  Also, Rilis (standard Hero) starts with a Leather Cuirass with no defense value (not sure if this is part of the same problem, but it's possible so I raised it here).

Best regards,
Steven.

Judging from your problem, I would assume ACP isn't causing this, but likely another equipment mod, or a glitch in Elemental itself (hey, it's possible, right? :-" ).

I use the most recent version of ACP, among others, and haven't noticed exactly what you're talking about (all defense values for items are showing up just fine for me), however I have noticed something similar:

I've encountered a glitch (just recently) where my sovereign could not equip any new shoes/boots of any kind (all other parts seemed to equip perfectly); the shoes wouldn't show up at all when trying to equip them, but he clearly had them whenever I attempted to trade them between other people.  Also anyone else I tried equipping shoes on worked perfectly.

I use about 5-6 mods (all well-known on this forum), and a couple of them add a large amount of extra selectable equipment during sovereign creation (should narrow that down to 1 or two mods).  My sovereign was wearing boots from one of these mods which were equipped during sovereign creation, and I could not un-equip these boots no matter what I tried throughout the rest of the game.  Hope this helped you at least slightly.

You're using Railgun's Balance Project. It redefines what armor you can and can't wear. It is not compatible with expandedfactions.

Correct. Those armor parts are most likely from goodie huts and I haven't found a way to deactivate them (you can't overwrite goodie huts yet). As for the Champions' original armors, replacing them is in the works.

For now, armor parts can be sold, but that's it. I'll try fixing some of these problems, but with the combat overhaul coming, making my mod compatible with Heavenfall's expanded factions (more like, making a modmod) might not be very useful.
