Surprisingly low FPS

Why is this game running so slow?

Seriously, I've seen games with far more impressive graphics that run way better.

System specs:

CPU:
AMD Athlon II X4 635 Quad Core Processor

Graphics:
ATI Sapphire Radeon 5830 1gb

RAM:
3gb

Sound
Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio

OS:
Windows 7 64-bit

HDD:
1x 1tb
1x 500gb

Now with my system specs that you can see here tell me I can't run this game on lowest graphics settings and I will simply laugh at you. But that's the truth. The game runs at 15-20FPS with all lowest graphics settings. It is simply BROKEN and is not optimized for PC performance. You guys at Stardock should seriously fire your lead programmer cos this is unacceptable, especially when you are so obsessed with anti-piracy methods that real, legit customers can't play the game properly. Focus on game performance, because this game is not worth my money until it is really playable. Now I can't have my money back and the game runs like crap. I can't believe a game with this graphics (which are very similar to Red Alert 3 imo) can't run with lowest settings on my computer.

Well at least I can play Starcraft 2, which has way better graphics and runs awesome.

I can run it very well with all settings on except AA. I have a core 2 duo and a 9400M. Maybe you should check your drivers, or maybe it's an AMD thing...

My system specs are different, but should still be more than enough for a game like this, and I'm experiencing the same thing.  The game is barely playable, and generally I just quit by about turn 200 or so because the longer the game goes on, the slower it gets.  Something to do with all the AI work in the background or something?
