Canadian Orders

Limited Edition

I'm currious to know where Elemental Limited Edition would ship from. I live in Toronto Canada so If it ships from somewhare in the States then I'd have to pay duty on it?. I did that once before. Bought a game from the Station Store and had to pay duty which was the same price as the game so I payed twice.

You probably would be better to look around your home town to see if you can find it. It ships from Ohio and I received two of the LE editions. One I paid duty on the other I didn't.

I ordered the Limited Edition back during Elemental's release and I did not pay any duty for it.  I live in British Columbia.

According to the Canada Borders Services Agency website: "if someone mails you an item worth CAN$20 or less, you don’t have to pay duty or taxes on the item. If the item is worth more than CAN$20, you must pay the applicable duty, the GST or HST, and any PST on the item’s full value."

I've ordered items over $20 before and I never had to pay duty.  Duty is one of those hit or miss things.  It all depends on how the product is packaged and what kind of mood the inspector is in that day.  If I had to pay duty on Elemental I would have been pissed.  If I remember correctly, the shipping charges were unusually high for this game already (and it took over a month to get here).
