Zoom-in map completely white, cloth map also very dark

Hi,

Just downloaded 1.1 and when I started the game, the map screen was completely white. By zooming out to the cloth map you could see something but even then everything was very dark. I could select my characters (by blindly clicking around) and access research panel. I could also see the graphics around the scrteen edges (turn and units in left upper corner, info panel down middle etc.) but the actual map portion is completely white. Driver issue? Catalyst 10.12 seems to be pre-release so I`m not entirely sure about installing it yet.

Win7 64bit, ATI Radeon 5800 series 1GB, Catalyst 10.11

I have the same problem running ATI 5870's in both CF and single mode. The problem was occurring in the 1.09 beta as well as 1.1, but before that I was able to run the game without this problem. I am currently running catalyst 10.11 drivers.

Try disabling adaptive AA in the ATI CCC.

Same problem here.

Just bought the game after I saw 1.10 was out...way to welcome new players

Ok...disabling Adaptative MSAA "works"...shouldn't have to do this though.

Thanks for the tip. This does "fix" the problem, but it seems that using super-sampling AA instead, for me at least, introduces pretty bad pixel creep on the map (trees especially) as well as blurring the text quite a bit. Not really an ideal solution at all, but at least I can check out the changes to the game a bit while waiting for a fix.
