So here we are yesterday. Freaking blizzard in the great lakes area. I lose my high speed. No big deal, I will waste some cold weather time playing elemental beta. Oh wait. No internet. No play? WTF? Where is my offline mode? And when was this added to the game ? Please tell me this is just an oversight.
It was clearly stated (at least when they started) that these betas were online. Non beta game is not online and can be played normally without internet connection.
Someone should have been repeating for the "newbies" about the required internet connection for the betas, I suppose.
Whew. I was just a little ticked. No internet. -12 degrees. And it was either play some elemental or hang out with my wife.
I am better today, obviously the internets work again. Thanks for the info.
