Changes:

1. Fixed crashes.

2. Fixed an issue with the Great Mill materials cost.

3. Fixed the Greater Evasion spell so it shows up correctly in the spellbook.

4. Empire tech Refined Weaponry requires Dread Weapons now (instead of Offense).

5. Empire tech Refined Armor requires Master Armor now (instead of General Armor).

6. Tower of Civilization renamed to the Tower of Dominion.

7. The Imperial Throne reduces maintenance costs in the city it is built in by 50%.

8. Merchant improvement gildar bonus raised from +10% to +25%.

9. Removed the Empire Indoctronation tech.

10. Fixed an issue that caused stuck turns in tactical combat if an AI sovereign or champion had a bow.

11. You won't receive three popups for caravan attacks anymore (one saying your being attacked, another where you are forced to select auto-resolve combat and a third saying the caravan was destroyed).  Instead you only receive one popup saying that the caravan was destroyed.

12. Fixed a bug that could keep used from being able to load maps in the map editor.

13. The empire Ventri Mine now has a tech requirement.

14. Removed lots of debug messages.

15. You can only cast 1 Guardian Ward on a city.

16. Fixed a bug where tribute wasn't being deducted from the players treasury.

 

Known Issues:

1. In the design a unit screen off hand items appear black.  It is because they are being lit from the wrong side.

2. At the victory/defeat screens, the music level ignores your settings.

4. Custom unit info card pictures are lost after a few turns.

 

Future Features:

1. Add a way to target a unit in an army for a strategic spell (without breaking him out of that army).

2. Add a way to select the terrain when the unit is on a tile (so you can build an improvement on a resource without moving the unit).

Going to put this one up again, Destiny's Tutor quest is still broken. Nothing happens when you visit the first spawn location, and also Sagog's egg quest didn't result in the dragon in 1.09t (haven't had a chance to get that far in 1.09u yet).

Also I don't appear to be getting any late game monsters at a fairly late stage of the game when I have maxed quest tech. Does it hinge of the exploration tech or turn counter or what?

I believe you are correct. As far as i know, there is no way to cancel any sort of relations with the AI. On that note, I would much prefer that alliances, research and trade treaties be indefinite.

Lol if you want to see something really annoying uncheck the allied victory condition at the start of the game (forget what its called) then kill everyone but your ally off the map. You can't win because you can't un-ally. I think I did the master spell or something to finish the game since I couldn't get rid of my "buddy".

This has been an issue all beta. Frogboy mentioned that they are working on it, and that it probably has something to do with monsters reaching the max per map and then stopping spawning forever. Don't know why it's never been on the list.

Good job, work on my stability issues and i'll save my balance rant for 1.2... okay a little taste now.. wtf is up with no earth spells scaling with the number of  earth crystals controlled. Fireball is a single target spell.. BLASPHEMY. :grin:

 

Seriously though its looking good outside of my particular stability issues,some minor balance issues and of course  my firm beliefs in spell lore a la DnD.

Agree about the earth shard issue (fixed that in my mod, at least a bit), but the fireball/cube is a matter of taste.

Can see many changes now in CoreUnits.xml. :)

UnitStat_Constitution is now only missing from Kingdom_Pioneer. Looks like it has been applied to all others.

You need to set your Impulse Control Panel to 'Show Pre-Release Versions'.  This is found in one of the tabs at the upper left of the Impulse window.  Then refresh and you should see 'new update available'.

This is the first build since which has had no crashes in the first hour for me.

So far no crashes, again, this is getting very annoying that I cant find crashes!!!  (/sarcasm off)  I know some may still be having them but I sure dont.  Im also playing with all 10 AI know and still going good.  Im really curious to see if there is slow down.  Somehow I dont think there will be as much as Civ, since there arent "worker" types of units being spammed and sent out...well maybe Pioneer units as I remember in previous versions watching as they streak along my screen.  Heck the AI used to go to war with me, just to send them thru my land!!!

 

Tactical battles are going very well right now, but Im wondering if there will be more objects in them like hillls, mountains, tress, and stuff that can actually block LoS, or give +to damage and such.  You could make tactical battles into something ala XCOM where some of the screen is fogged out til you explore it and have Objects that can block LoS and such.  Maybe not as wide a field of play as that, since moving may take awhile, but if you added hills that gave a small, but noticeable bonus, and such, it would make each battle a bit different.  Mind you, im not saying each battle should have hills, but could reflect a bit better where you are actually fighting at.

Just wanted to point out an outdated spell. In the ruin spellbook (tactical), the spell Crush Spirit affects morale, which is no longer in the game.

 

EDIT: As does the spell RallyingCry in the Mastery Tactical spellbook.

EDIT2: As does the spell Agonizing Fear in Core Abilities Tactical.

 

EDIT3: Seeing as the ruin spellbook is no longer available, nevermind that one. Agonizing Fear I only found a monster with the ability, but still.
