After two hours of play, the game stopped working with an "out of memory" error. The orginal .zip crash dump was a zero length file so I had to recompress it myself.  Re-compressed crash dump here:

As for the debug.err, I ran the game after so the orginal has probably been overwritten.  But it gave me another error (something about not being able to connect and check firewalls) and prevented me from restarting:

(btw: overall, this patch 1.09u is much more stable than before)

Same crash, same game as above, after about a further 1.5 hours (turn 311).  This time the crash dump .zip was generated properly and I've included the debug.err immediately after the crash.

That makes only 2 crashes in around 4 hours.  Much much better stability than even patch t.  Good job with these latest patches.

I've spent some time this weekend looking at memory issues.

@Esc923, how much memory do you have on your video card by chance?

According to Everest, my AMD/ATI 5870 has 1024MB of memory.   Playing at 1920x1200 resolution, with AA off, 1024x512 map texture size, no shadows.  Using an i7 920 6GB RAM, Win 7 x64, latest drivers...

Not sure if this is related, but I also noticed my PC slowing down with a lot of hard drive access after a couple of hours (using virtual memory?), but this was resolved by exiting and re-entering the game.

None of this is a major problem right now; I just restart the game and carry on for a couple of hours.  However, it might be a concern in future if more features are added and frequency of the problems increase.
