Also, does the save you've already attached reproduce the problem for you?  Because when I load it up and choose navies, nothing crashes.  I hit turn a few times and still no crash.  If it crashes for you still, what are the reproduction steps?  Example: Load it up and hit turn, or do I have to do something special? 

Debug file should be the second link.  I don't have my laptop that can play Elemental on me right now, so that won't help.  does that need to be online for dropbox to work?

The crash happened at the start of a turn, when the "produces nothing screen" occured.

My autosave is set to every 4 turns I believe, I need to reduce that to one for crash bugs, will try to remember to do that when I get to work tonight.

Yeah, I saw that you've included the debug.err file.  I'm talking about a crash dump that will have a .zip file extension.  Specifically, the part of that forum link I sent you that I wanted you to read (because you already included the debug.err and a gamesave), was this:

If you have a crash, please check your program data folder for a zip file which will be named something like Elemental1_0-2010-08-26T11-11-06-474 and post it using dropbox or a similar service.

On Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic 

On Vista/Win7: C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic

Ok, I can't do that until tomorrow morning due to not having laptop.  (On a 8 yr old laptop now- barely plays GCII these days)    Will do so in future.
