changed my user name, now can't run 1.09r

I'm not sure this is the reason as I changed my user name right before I tried out 1.09r (never tried it with the old name so I don't know if it worked or not). I get the message "can't find data file...". I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I changed my log-in on Impulse to reflect the new name and that loads fine. I've never had a problem with betas n,o,p or q. Please help before I go through withdrawal! Oh, I can't change my user name back to the old one since it was 2 words, which is not allowed anymore.

This has been solved (for most people) previously. Once the alert "Can not download data file" shows up, Shift+Tab to bring up the Impulse overlay and it will give you the option to re-login.

Elemental tries to login with old information unless you do this and as a result cannot communicate with Impulse.
