Greetings:
Every time I start my computer lately I get an annoying ad from Impulse popping up. I thought I had taken care of this the other day but they are back. How do I get rid of these annoying popups?

Is it only impulse ads? Or do other ads pop up? If yes, then you probably have malware.

It's just Impulse ads. Got another one this morning. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm guessing that you have Impulse starting up every time you boot? Not a fan of that. If you don't want the ads and you don't want Impulse running in the background, go to Impulse and find the option to disable it as a start-up program. I'm not at home, so I can't find it for you until later. It should be pretty easy to find, though.
You can disable them here. Right-click the system tray icon and go to Settings.

Island Dog. Thank you very much. I didn't realize the Impulse Now settings were checked to allow this. I never checked them before. They just started the other day. I unchecked them and everything should be fine. Once again, thank you and everyone very much. This was starting to drive me nuts!!
