1.09p bug during tactical battle

1) Escaping

One of the very precious units of AI escaped from a battle leaving behind 13 pioneers :) When i clicked autoresolve however, the unit that has already escaped got killed

Another thing: those who escape from a battle in which i conquered a city appear in my city after the battle, although when i attack them and win again my army appears outside of the city 

2) Balance issue

War Magic is useless except Touch of Entropy which is extremely strong - if not for this spell i will never be able to win battle against AI who fields 40-60 armor units (in fortified cities)  ... AI should target my mags capable of casting that spell first (and they would die in an instant), instead of focusing on my heavy armored troops 

3) Crystals

I cannot harvest crystals and i am well advanced in the game. I am given contradictory informations: cannot be used by our faction, or that it requires technology we don't have. Which technology is that??? I am playing Yithril.

4) Strategy

I have had cases where some units leave the city walls and attack me outside, though they have no chance in winning and in the end also army inside in the city is weaken to the point i could conquered it.

PS I enjoy challenge, though it is rather due to ridiculously high stats of AI troops (120 health, 40 attack, 50 armor - a wife everyone would like to have) rather then opponent's strategy.

i cannot research this technology - i dont have it available ....

 

AI Error:

i got crystal by trading with one of the super powers who propose me to declare a war to a total looser (power rating 9) for value of 1200. I declare war for 50 crystal, made a peace, declare a war for 50 crystal and so on till i got all the crystal i wanted: i could also get all his money/resources but what's the point .. I got crystal b/c cannot get them otherwise :)
