Changes:

1. City level 2 raised from 10 pop to 15 pop.

2. Capitals provide a base 10 pop storage instead of 5 storage.

3. Sions and catapults no longer show on the train list (but greyed out) before you get the appropriate techs.

4. Fixed a crash when clicking train on a level 3 city (with low resources).

5. Modifiers from starting tech are now applied correctly (previously, for example, Capitar couldn't create caravans because they got trade as a free tech which didn't correctly unlock caravans).

6. Wolves won't talk to you anymore (I might actually miss this bug).

7. Fixed an issue with Arcane Arrow and Spellbast having defendable damage and the formula for Arcane Arrow doing 25% of the casters int in damage instead of 75%.

8. Fixed Cloth map only mode (https://forums.elementalgame.com/400772).

9. The Empire can now build crystal mines.

10. Blink is castable now.

11. Fixed a bug where partial prestige from units charisma was not being added to cities. Changes were made to City.cpp and LoreBookWndListHelpers.cpp to accomodate this change (and display it in the city breakdown screen).

 12. Balanced the Sentinel starting units.

 13. Balanced sovereign starting weapons and armor.

 14. Changed store prices of huge portions of armor items and weapons to more accurately reflect the cost to train with that item, this should make it more balanced price wise but probably will not be perfect

 15. Fixed defense boost of improvements that boost defense to their proper values.

 16. Balanced goodie huts that were spawning weapons/armor that was now too good for their spawn rating.

17. Fixed a bug with quest data being lost during save/reload causing crashes or weird quest behavior.


 

Known Issues (with 1.09p):

1. The campaign isn't playable.

2. There is currently no way to target a unit in an army for a strategic spell (without breaking him out of that army, which is a pain).

3. Gold modifier improvements (like markets) currently don't effect the tax rate.  Making them useless in most cities.

Just to note you CAN get wolves if you choose "Spawn Random Guardian" in your city.

Dereck, Thank you, love your work. How did you get the guys to move on this bug? It has been driving most of us nuts since the original betas, and of course my next question is how do we get other bugs that are being unacknowledged? (ie turn off all sound in game, exit, start game and be blown away by the intro still playing sound! it relay needs to read the preferences from the game, ie no sound, low sound levels, high sound levels..)

I updated to 1.09p and now can't play the game it loads up and does not go past the beginning splash screen.

It say that some date file can't download. To make sure I am log in to IMpule (which I am) have an Internet connection (which I always do) and make sure no firewalls or anti-virus is blocking it (both AVG and Windows Firewall have Elemental under there exceptions)

Add to the issues: the map making algorithm is weird. I got a map with lots of earth shards (I've seen 4, and no other types of shards), 6 venturi ore mines (but no iron), lots of gold, and only 2 food sources. I haven't explored everything, but I shouldn't have all of this in my area.

Also, please put a bit more space between special locations. 1 or 2 techs in the line and the world starts being totally covered with them, you can't make a step without finding a spear or 400 gold...

I noticed that a wolf still talked to me.  Was an alpha wolf.   It really doesn't bother me that much, but if it was supposed to be fixed...  *_*

Just had an issue with Teleport spell.

Monarch's army was auto-pathing to a destination.  A turn or two before they should get there I cast Teleport to bring them back to an undefended city (to defend it of course) and I click End turn.  On the next turn the army marches 6+ tiles toward the destination I had them going to before I cast Teleport.  I have the autosave if it is needed.

 

HEY!!!!!! I just noticed the city names aren't jumping around!  I've been playing about an hour now and there haven't been any flip-flops!

Another issue that I don't think has been resolved yet:

If a unit and a resource occupy the same space, I can not select the resource to build an improvement.  I always select the unit.

Maybe we can get a past 1.09p ongoing changelog? Its a great idea and i really appreciate the last two . :)
