Boot skins split in half???

i downloaded the bootskin DOS Prank i think its great but i applied it and then rebooted my computer to see if it worked and it looked like the image had been split in half and the put together backwords with the right side on the left and the left side on the right does anyone know what the problem could be with this

i looked through the boards and did not see anything about it so i hope you guys can help me

this happened to me when I was making a skin. I set the number of colors lower then 16 and it split, at least that is why I think it split. I only changed the number from 15 to 16 and it worked perfectly.

Since it is up here it shouldn't have that problem. Have you downloaded the latest version of bootskin?

alright, as i suspected the problem is the number of colors. If you change the number of colors to 16, by added 14 white colors it works perfectly. The first time i ran it it was split the second time after i changed the colors it worked. I guess either you could change it or email the author to change it.

uhh ok that sounds good i will change it i just dont know how can you tell me plz thx for the help so far though
