[1.09n][Game Balance] Too Much Loot

I am playing a custom map with a lot of creatures I added manually to really fill the world with enemies. The problem is that I am getting upwards of 1000 gildar from every battel againts Brigand and the human robber mob I love so much.

(keep in mind that this loot goes one for three or four columns and it also gives rings)

I have more issues but will post them in a fashion compliant with the beta process.

Btw: an aside - it's cool that you can now get loot other than gold now. :thumbsup:

But it certainly needs to be toned down a little, as loot is currently doubled or more. ;-)

Its not balance-problem as much as a straight out bug. For each type of combat (defensive manually, offensive manually, auto offense and auto defense) a tally is kept of all fought combats and their rewards and for each type of combat you'll get the reward for the current combat and all! former combats on top. Having 100 HP-Rings sure is odd. But obvious and reproducable...

Those "reward logs" are only flushed when you exit the game and reenter/load a save... (which in turn will break alot of things unless you are far into the game allready...)


It's a beta (and one that deserves the name, the difference in polish is stark if not obvious. Earliest utter game-breaker is fimilliar armies (easily avoidable enough. Just don't use it...) as early as Season 20-25 and escalates with this breaking bug here at around Season 100 when the log is big enough. 400000 Gold is more than ever possible to spend and counting. But finally a way to mass-test Elementium Armor and Karazans for all my heroic army. Still riddiculous but maybe not that bad for testing purposes (going diplomatic this time having wiped out all empires. Lets see if I can milk this game for a few more bugs.). And far from the only bugs of that magnitude...), so expect the odd thing that looks like a balance-problem to be actually a real bug and investigate / help the team fix those.

Trying to balance a bug is only going to make the situation worse and solve nothing... ;)

This is not just for enjoying (which you really can't fully in a sense of challenge anyways if you know the loopholes. The Gold one seems the only unavoidable though...) its for getting a playable version without gamebrakers in the first place, so maybe a bit of patience might help. Overhaul is huge and some things are bound to break...

That thing might be a server-saving issue though if the online-only is due to external saves on cloud. Not sure about this. Maybe the devs can enlighten us...
