Hey Frogboy

This is not what we waited for!

1.09e never crashed like this, you broke it!

I could send you crash files all night long but, what's the point, I'm just going wait for version 2.0.

A beta patch crashes?  Really?  Are you sure?  You mean to tell me you ticked the little box that said "Pre-Release Versions" and downloaded 1.09n effectively agreeing to join a public beta for the 1.1 patch and the game had to audacity to crash?  What is this world coming to when we gamers can't even enjoy beta testing without suffering through bugs and crashes...

While I agree with the points made above, sarcastic or not...  You guys can't really expect him to not be frustrated, can you?  We've all had our fair share of it with this game I'm sure...  Sometimes folks just gotta vent, even if it's a little misguided.

Granted, I've been avoiding doing the exact same thing since I do know this is a beta...  But come on...  Where's the love?

End of quote

Go pwn the punching bag.  Or battle a 1/2 acre of blackberry, or split a cord of wood.  Something with a constructive result.

At this point, the sarcasm becomes harassment.

On my PC it's considerably less stable now, most crashes seem to be linked to the rendering system, which I understand has undergone some changes in the area of shadow generation.

However despite a few other minor bugs I too am loving the changes to the game mechanics, think there is still some balancing to do as well as fixing stability issues until the patch is released though.

And to the OP frankly you new this time you where down loading a beta, you can't complain about the stability of a beta that's kind of part of what they are testing. The fact is major engine revisions like multithreading AI and rewritting rendering code is bound to lead to some stability issues that need ressolving hence the Beta.
