Ok trying to reset Impulse again - and i also turned off the show beta/pre release versions in the preference -

ill report how it goes

Maybe there are still files left in your system from the original install that are confusing things. Do you have CCleaner or something like that to make sure your system is clean before you try downloading and reinstalling it again?

Believe it or not, some people don't have the time to check to see if something has been fixed every single day of the week.

And now I have another reason for not coming back for two weeks.

Ok i am installing it - (the file downloaded 100 % after i did the folllowing.

Reset impulse as noted above - And then unchecked the include beta/pre releases.

restart impulse and it updates and the file should now read as 1.89 size and when downloaded should finish .
(note i also disabled all my antivirus programs - as i read elsewhere that might do something wrong)

You have to turn OFF "show pre release versions", restart Impulse; reinstall 1.09e (takes a while...); turn ON "show pre release versions"; restart Impulse; update Elemental.

That's a bunch of bollocks. All these problems and now even the installer works inconsistently? Time for a refund, I'm off to find a developer\publisher that has it's act a little more together.

What buffoonery.

same problem here - what is the answer?

the unfortunate thing is if I have to uninstall to try it again - i will probably leave it uninstalled

now i get a decompression error due to it being already in use or something - sorry but my tolerance level for this game is too low to be fiddling with it over and over - broken game at launch and can't play even now
