1.09n Beta bugs

Not sure where best to report bugs for the beta patch.

the Blink spell is unavailable in battle it's greyed out with not enough mana shown. But the reported cost is 16 mana and I have 137.

I've also had too crashes one after 5 turns so seems less stable than before I'll get the crash files and post the link to dropbox shortly.

Generally though I like the changes it's a lot more fun.

Is there not another condition to the blink spell?  (I forget if that is a combat spell or a strategic spell)

Units I design seem to be untrainable for me (tried just creating a new unit armed with nothing but a Cedar longbow. They're saved, but they don't appear in the train units screen when selecting a city)

Also looks like the textures are missing for the trees in "greened" land (I just see the shapes, filled a solid brown).

I've also had it crash after a few turns (more than five, more like 100 or so), probably still a memory leak somewhere.

Damage reporting is strange. I'm shooting units with my bow and seeing a consistent -27 damage, but it's taking two shots to drop units with 14 hit points. From the hit point totals on the units I can see I'm doing around 3 - 7 damage each hit, so I suspect it's the damage reporting that's broken.

Liking the changes so far. I think either income or costs needs a slight tweak though, it feels like it's a waste of time building merchants or the like now since my income quickly skyrockets.

Although hilarious AI moment - I've got over 7000 Gildar in the bank, and Resoln demands I pay them a massive 22 Gildar. Was I paying their diplomat's coach fare home or something?

It's tactical and I was in tactical battle and it said I had not enough mana to cast it which from the description wasn't true at all.

Combat rewards are bugged. It looks like I gain rewards for the current battle, plus all the battles before or something.

My damage spells (arcane arrow and the AoE spell in the same line, can't remember the name) work against creatures, but don't work against Capitar, for some reasons; they are perma-resisted, even by pioneers. I haven't tried against other factions. Also, the damage value of arcane arrow is wrong (4.5 with 18 intelligence...)

I had a crash using an old character

Firstly I want to say that I am really enjoying this beta... havn't played since 1.07 and the game seems to shapeing up into a really solid base from which stardock can build. Secondly I am having the exact same issues as Archonsod. Keep up the great work guys.

Pretty sure it's just bows that make units untrainable, they also appear to have a dmg bug.

When choosing "Basic Game Concepts" in Heigmoney (sp?) it crashes.  Also, I was able to build an archer with the longbow, but I didn't research it yet.  Of course couldn't build that archer, but my champions and sov could buy it.

I did check master archer for my kingdom, didn't check to see if both short and long bow are activated with this, I need to check.  Either way, I could build an archer with longbow but could not train one, wasn't even available as a unit on train box.  Champs and sovs could buy and use the longbow.  I didn't train advance archer yet.

After my city leveled up I chose to have a random guardian.  It gave me 9 spiders, each with 17 HP.  I suppose that looks like a bug (literal)! It is very early in the game, only have one city.

Also is the range on lower and raise land really supposed to be infinite.  You can really mess up another player if that is the case ....

Loaded a saved game and my border had shrunk from prior to the save.  Had a shard already built, saved the game.  When I reloaded the shard was still "glowing" as though I had improved it, but my border was one size smaller, hit end turn and the improvement on the shard went away.  Hit end of turn again and the border once again expanded to include the shard.  Had to rebuild.

That seems to be what the NPC's are, 11-17 or so, so I would guess not a bug.

Yes but 9 of them? Maybe it has been changed to make it worth while?  Before it was pretty much useless?

I don't think dodge is working...

When I first meet Janusk, he threatens to takeover my first city.

also, I get a CTD after hitting the end turn button for the first time.  (I haven't tried again yet)

Curiously, Janusk never spawned in my game. Other than that and the can't build archers bug, it's been pretty damn stable, and the new balance is interesting.

Janusk has appeared in the 4 games I've played and joined as usual.

I know it is working against the NPC's.  Says -17 and about 7 or so goes off HP.

Make sure it is selected in game settings.  He spawned every time, about 4-5 times for me.

My game did crash though, furthest along I have been so far but not sure what turn it was.

Either I'm mistaken or this is a bug (also I didnt want to make another bug thread [keep things concise] so sorry if this is off-topic)

Reading the beta changelog, charisma/5 is a prestige bonus for cities with champs/sov in them. I don't seem to be getting this bonus from my champs with over 10 charisma (only just started)

Might mean charisma is still borked?

Are you supposed to be able to build multiple workshops in one city now?

Yes.  I can do it, and I've noticed the AI doing it also.

I levelled up my first city to L2, chose Random Guardians and got 9 Swarm Spiders.  Though I didn't use them to Swarm, I was ahead of the Power Ratings for quite a while after that.  Is this meant to happen after just one L1 -> L2 level-up?

Also, another bug.  I had built the Temple of Hope or whatever and had +3 Prestige.  Then I cast Fertility on the settlement, but the Prestige stayed at +3, town population growth was only +3/season, and Fertility could not be cast on the city, so the spell must have already been active.

Btw: is there a way to see what spell upkeep you are maintaining?

Best regards,
Steven.

The area of influence (or whatever it is called) generated by a captured city is pretty much crazy.  I have a game where a narrow band of control wraps under an enemy city.  It has a couple of points of interest, so good for me, but it looks...wrong.
