We are excited to announce a new contest for Elemental: War of Magic!  The “Design a Spell” contest gives you the player the chance to have a spell included in an upcoming update, and a chance to win some really cool prizes like an ATI video card!  Submit your own spell and the top 5 chosen by the contest moderators will be posted and the community will vote on a winner.

  1. First Place: ATI Radeon™ HD 5850 1GB graphics card AND have your spell implemented into Elemental: War of Magic!
  2. Second Place: $50 Impulse Gift Card
  3. Third Place: $25 Impulse Gift Card
  4. Fourth Place: $25 Impulse Gift Card
  5. Fifth Place: $25 Impulse Gift Card

Submissions are being accepted until December 13th, so start submitting!  Also, don’t forget to check the rules and reglations.

Sooooo... I am trying to post my spell and I keep getting a code 3 error and a small box with a 404 error. Any ideas on how to solve this would be most helpfull.

I too am getting that annoying code 3 error that seems to plague the contest at the moment. Did anyone find a way to resolve it yet?

Hm, I updated my spell description a couple of hours before the deadline, now the spell doesn't show up in the submissions list at all.

I think any edits need to be vetted on their side, due to time differences I think they are yet to get out of bed. Once theya rrive at the office hopefully your spell will reappear.

You were right. Well, there are 330 spell submissions in the contest. it'll be interesting to see what kind of gems are among them.

Shoot, I thought today was the final day for submissions.  I finally settled on a temporary stat booster for my entry (Empower: 50 mana to grant +5 to a target units stat for duration of tacticle battle).  Good luck all!  I'm looking forward to seeing the new spell.

This made me think it was open unitl 12pm EST of December 13th.  Is it possible that the submission form has been accidently closed too early?

I believe it was said that it's open until 12am, not pm. I prefer 24h clocks for this reason. :)

I too would've liked to switch my entry into something called a Teleport Trap, an idea I got today. It definitely would've been the most interesting idea I've had for a spell. The current entry I have probably won't make the cut. Oh well.
