Need help with TaskPanel/ShellStyle bitmaps

Hi folks,
I am basically finished skinning everything that I want and I think I would like to upload the skin now , but my Large Bitmaps arent showing on my PC. The TaskPanel previews in SkinStudio show up fine, but with the skin applied to my PC...no dice. If I open the "My Music, My Pictures, etc." folders, the large bitmap doesnt appear. Other skins work fine, but the one I made does'nt. Any ideas? What am I missing? I appreciate any input. Thanks in advance.

First thing I would say is to go to SystemProperties>Advanced>PerformanceSettings>Visual Effects and make sure 'Use a background image for each folder type' is selected

If I remember correctly those files have to be saved as an 'Indexed' color .bmp. to show also;)

umm.. 'Indexed' ? Thats a new one on me

sigh... I'm gonna upload it for now and update it when I figure it out . thanks again Zodiaq.

Make the bitmaps indexed color and save them as 8bit bmps. That should do it.

There is a tip in the skinning section that explains your problem.In the unofficial guide to WB\SS.Its weird but easy to fix.
