[1.09e] [bug] list of 'easy fix' bugs
Here are some items I've come across that I think should be easy to fix and include in 1.1
Currently you can research 'Fortresses' (castle) before you research 'Forts' (wooden walls) in the Kingdom Warfare tree. This is because Fortresses unlocks after 'Catapults'. Proposed solution is to move Fortresses to unlock after Forts instead of Catapults, which makes more sense.
'Pariden's Demise' in the Empire Cooperation tree does not spawn a Drota Citadel.
'Propaganda' in the Empire Cooperation tree does not make a new building available (should provide the 'Propaganda Ministry')
The output for 'Old Growth Forest' is different for Kingdom vs. Empire; this is the ONLY resource tile that has a different output, which is why I think it is a bug. For Kingdom output is 2, for Empire it is 4. Either make them the same (easy fix) or make other resources vary per allegiance also (more challenging but also more interesting). EDIT: OK, wheat farm is 6 for Kingdom, 5 for Empire; so there are two. ![]()
The Padded Cap and Padded Armlets are available from the beginning of the game for trained troops, but are not for sale in your store for your champions, ever. Either they should be for sale immediately, or those two items should move to the same tech that unlocks Padded Cuirass and Padded Leggings (Equipment & Tools of War for Kingdom/Empire).
'Advanced Tracking' in the Kingdom Warfare branch does not work as advertised the first time you research it. This is probably because it is a pre-req for 'Elite Troops', but then the tech after Elite Troops is also named Advanced Tracking. The 1st Advanced Tracking is (per the text) supposed to give a straight-up +1 to movement, while the 2nd Advanced Tracking is supposed to give a +10% each time you research it. Proposed fix would be to rename the 2nd Advanced Tracking to 'Refined Movement' and then to double check the code for the 1st Advanced Tracking.
Edit: Oh and sorry, I don't mean to presume what is or isn't easy to fix, I just meant things that don't involve a complete overhaul or new system ![]()
