thanks Brad, by realising the 1.1 as a beta, you are deficiently following though on your promise of listing to us, and showing you still value our opinions. This is the first time I have felt more then a glimmer of hope since the release..

listen i really don't know where you are coming from. The man has admitted that he made a mistake in putting the game out the way he did and he has promised to fix it. I'm not jumping on the bandwagon and crying out how wonderful he is - clearly there were issues with how they organized themselves this summer. He admitted it. Lets move on. Sure he could test it out further before releasing anything, but people are eager for the changes and many people are willing to help him improve it by offering suggestions and data from errors.
The world is simply not the same it was 15 - 20 years ago when it comes to releasing games - one of those changes is that it is EASIER to make fixes to your game if your inclined as a company to do that. Hello internet please to meet you. Best Friends Forever. Compare this to other forms of media - one great example off the top of my head which is very comparable is the movie "Snakes On a Plane". I'm not saying the movie is art, but it was interesting in the way the script developed because they put it online for people to read and asked people how would they change the script - and they put a lot of the feedback into it. That is how Elemental is evolving as a game, and i wish the rest of the game industry would follow suit. It will make for many more higher quality games, which is what everyone wants.

Not to steal the thread, but yes 'Realising' is the correct spelling, 'Realizing' is an Americanisation of the word, pretty much like colour and color.
As to the original point, one of the reasons I purchased the game before the 1.1 patch was just so that i can appreciate the improvements made. As it is i am enjoying the game massively, even in it's current patch level.
