Cursor XP mixing & matching

Hello. I was wondering if it's possible to mix cursor states from one cursor theme, with another theme. Is there a simple way of doing this?

For example, I like a lot of the states for the "bubblegum" theme, except, er... the bubble blowing lips, and the hand.

Any help appreciated... BK

Yes...

Go to your Cursor XP folder>Themes...Right click on the theme you want the new cursor items from and select 'Open With' and choose Winzip.

Now extract all the .png images to a folder.

No go to Control Panel>Printers and other Hardware>Mouse>Cursor XP tab. Now select the 'bubblegum' theme, highlight the cursor you want to change, click on the 'Configure' button in the upper part of the window, now click the 'Configure' button in the lower part of the window.

Now under the 'normal' tab make sure 'Enhanced Cursor' is selected, click on 'Import' and browse for the file you want to replace, Hit apply>ok and then save the changes...That's it.

Now just repeat the process for each cursor you want to change...If you have any questions let me know

PS... Just wanted to let you know, that your advice worked like a charm... Within a half an hour, I had exactly the substitute states I wanted installed, and working perfectly! Just had to remember to check and copy their animation settings, is all...

I was thinking you would probably figure out the frame animations once you looked at it
