Help On Horses

Forgive if answered somewhere else.Does everyone in your group have to have a horse for the movement bonus.PLus if you take a hero in that say, does a benefit of food or something like that,do you have to keep them in the town?

The movement bonus only applies to the unit equipped with the horse. You will notice some hero's are allowed to wear speed boots/cloaks and others are not. The ones that are not allowed to wear speed boots/cloaks can be given horses. But then if you can easily afford it, you can give horses to all your hero's and replace the speed boots/cloaks with some more armor.

Good question on the Hero's? I have assumed such Hero as a farmer or miner needs to be in the specific town, but to be honest, i have never noticed it increasing that towns output?

Thx and I also checked their notes for gamers and they say that you can create a hero and as a talent take organized movement and then the stack moves with what your leader has.Sad part is the choice is not there when you do go to the create screen. If you click on the default leaders on game set up,two of them have that talent. They say you can have it but I think they left it out.

That talent was overpowered, you could win by turn 50 on a large map with a kill stack moving at 6squares per turn, so they nixed it in one of the updates.

Basically, a stack moves at the speed of the slowest guy, so it's best to match guys with the same speed.

Also, read this doc:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/954860-elemental-war-of-magic/faqs/61009

It's 100% better than the manual supplied in the game and actually covers what those hero talents are & do .. some work, some are broken, some you need to have the hero in the city to get the benefit & in other cases you don't need to be in the city to get the bonus.

I think that heros who's ability description says "produces something in the town he stationed in" (or something like that), you have to keep them in town in order to get the bonus.  While other heros you don't have to.

I think they removed the organized talent in the latest patch because it was overpowerd.... I could be wrong.  There are a few mods that will let you select it again though.

Does Organized still work on Heroes that you built before they took it out?

I made 2 with it on there and I think it still works.
