Here's a saved game in which the turn will not advance. I never had this problem when it was a common one, but it's happened now--approximately 950 turns into the game. I tried loading the atuosaves, but they're stuck too.
I read another post about the same problem, and, yes, I had a unit on autoexplore which was causing the problem. So, I've been able to resume the game. It would still be nice, of course, if this issue could be resolved, but at least it didn't force me to quit a game after having played for so long.
This has happened to me three times in about 2 weeks of playing (c 25 hours a week). I finally gave up. gave it the three finger salute. And the reloaded from the 'autosave.' This is a pain, but also seems to delay the out of memory 'bug.'
