house way far from city it was built for ?

I noticed during play, that a house i had issued an order to be build in one city, appeared after it was built like 3 cities away in the middle of another factions city.

When i look at the house, it has the name of the city its part of,but its no where near it, and in fact inside another factions city.Which is like 3 cities away.

How did you build it? Using the build button to add it to the queue automatically? By clicking on the map? Were you zoomed in or out with city build zoom on or off?

This is a really random and strange but that we've seen but haven't been able to reliably reproduce...any specifics on how the placement went down (as asked by kryo) would be appreciated :)

Thanks!

I've had the same issue, except it was in the middle of nowhere, not w/in another factions city. It happened during the "auto center" issue when you are placing something during mouse-click. It ended up making the area where it was placed visible to me, so i didn't fret. Besides i was more worried about the save/oom bug at the time.

Sorry i dont have any real info on how it happened.I didnt notice it til after it had successfully built, and had no reason to keep track of what id been doing at the time.

But ive only played 3 games so far,and ive had this the once,so its likely more common than thought and reproducible.Since my last game (third) has now fallen to the "turn wont end" bug,ill be playing a fourth today, and ill do what i can to reproduce it.

This has happened to me several times, in several games.  Sometimes, the 'house' is in the middle of empty land, (not in a settlement) inside another SOV's territory.  My only concern was, at the time, that the enemy could use that tile to "attack" my city.  Apparently the AI doesn't "see" these misplaced tiles.  Would it show in a multi-player game?  Would it be a short cut to attacking, or entering the city as a whole?

I was just able to do it again.Just give the build order, then before you place it zoom out, and then click on an enemy town.

Yes, Tkobo, that is it.  When it happened to me, the map was zoomed out for wide view, because i didn't care where in the city the house was built.  You have it...
