Issue with NPC recruitment cost

I have tried making & playing a few custom maps.  Seems after the 5th or 6th NPC I recruit, the cost multiplier goes insane.  Jumps from a few gilder to around 1.7+ million.  I have seen some as high as 4+ million. 

 

I have been playing the test maps at Ridiculous (Yeah, I cheat).  Running the research speeds at Normal.  This still seems to just blow through the spell & tech research at an alarming rate (with very few Ancient Temples or Lost Libraries).

 

Anyone else notice if the internal mathematical algorithms seem "off"?

yup, have this one as well. the game in question started fine. after a while i noticed that npcs had a 0 gildar recruitment cost, followed by 4million+ cost later on. seems someone wrapped his uint32. i did save and load a couple of times, and noticed it only after loading. it does not seem to manifest if you don't save & load.
