Gildar bug

While play yesterday on version 1.09 I came across an odd bug:  After using  a "hero" (actually I think a merchant) to kill an enemy Pioneer my gildar count jump through the roof to what I think is the max amount possible of 159 million and change.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Mind I'm not really complaining as it will be a great help since I am holding onto more land than I have forces for and I'm at work with one other faction to hold them off a land choke point and the wild mercenaries and monsters are all putting a great amount of pressure on me.  I have lost 4 pioneers and 3 infant settlements to them, but I thought I would check to see if this bug has come up before.

I had a similar thing happen when i had a group of heroes (the errand boys) kill an enemy pioneer.  I received around 2 million gildar.  Since I had just save the game i reloaded and attempted the attack again and got 0 gildar for killing the same pioneer with the same group.  I went ahead and finished the game with the second result since 2 million gildar would have trivialized the game.

My pioneer kill netted me just over 1.35 billion gildar...

Seems like it happens for any kill on a 0 combat rating unit.

I have to try that, so you have to kill it with a champion thats a merchant?

Something similar happened to be which gave me negative gildar by a very high amount.  However, functionally I could buy anything.  Wouldn't try this as a cheat though... the game became highly unstable soon thereafter.

Happened to me too. I used some heros to kill a uninvited guest (Pariden pioneer) and got some billions out of it.

I've had a similar problem...  My sovereign is extremely rich now!

I've also noticed that other AI sovereigns often have extremely negative levels of gold -- in the billions or millions...

I had this happen to, but didn't notice it right away so it's in all my saved games (I save every two turns).  Fortunately, it popped me up to a billion gold, but I'm about 150 turns into a game right now and don't want to restart or abandon the game since I've invested so much time into it already.  But still, I can tell I'm going to win just because I can out produce and upgrade everyone else.
