[1.0.9 Beta] AI just attacked me with lower combat squad and is now dead

Gilden's sovereign just came with a squad of 95 attack rating and my city had a squad of 253...needless to say, I won the battle and Gilden is now out of the game because their sovereign was attacking in that stack. Can we have the AI make better decisions?
