Casting Arcane Armor on my Avatar lowers his HP's

That's basiclly it, as in the title of the post. I've noticed this in the past 2 games I've bothered to cast it.

Dell Inspiron Desktop, 2.4 Q6600 quadcore cpu, 4GM ram, Nvidia 8600 GT 256mb vidcard.(hoping "Santa" brings me a 9600 GT 512mb to replace it)
