Fallen Heroes

Well, I started playing a Empire game.  I chose the Magnar sovereign. Interesting, the game play is quite a bit different.

However, one of the first things I noticed was there are no Fallen Heroes.  No trogs or urxen.  There should be male and female heroes from the fallen empires as well.  Where is my Quendar bride?  Have I just not come across them yet?

 

On a side note, as a Sovereign, why can't I arrange a marriage between myself and one of my citizens?

I agree some fallen heros would be nice it's a bit of an omission, not like they couldn't easily be modded in. I think stardock just forgot to be honest.

Agreed, maybe a dev will be hanging around and add a couple for 1.09 or 1.1

Yeah, this is a problem. There needs to be a way for Kingdom to recruit Kingdom heroes and Fallen to recruit Fallen heroes (with a few going both ways). This would be good for the game, IMO.

You can always mod in new Fallen heroes.

I think I saw one!!!

Looked like an Urxen, Sickly yellow skin, Thief, and some horrible quote about beating the color yellow or what not. Blanking on his name at the moment ...

I know the Thief you are talkng about his name starts with an "A" and has yellow skin.  He's probably the closest to being non human as heroes go.

I've found Az a'Zoth in exactly 1 game I've played and I recruited him immediately.  While his stats are pretty good for a champion it was actually the fact that he was so novel compared to the rest that made me hire him... I was sad when he got eaten by spiders a few turns later :(

Nice find Vashtyphoon.  Does any know what race he is?  And if that is the closest thing to a Fallen Hero, I think there is room for a couple more.

pfft I found him months ago, but yeswe need more fallen heros, of each fallen race, after all how are you supposed to find a "spouse" of your own "species" when there are none to be had?

I'm not sure he is fallen but he is the closest thing to it and I agree with the second half of your statment completely.

He looks like a Sion to me, with that skincolour, facial structure and tattoo. He doesn't seem to have the nifty powers though, guess you have to attend the Sion Temples the Fallen factions build to get those.
