Dynasty Glitches

Incest is too useful. If you arrange a marriage between two people in your dynasty, the female is duplicated.

Kids can ally themselves with defeated powers. Capitar may have destroyed Tarth, but that doesn't stop my grandchildren from deciding that Irane's the cooler grandparent.

Not only can they ally themselves with defeated powers, but they can become the Kings of those defeated powers.

People forget that incest was common place amoung royalty back in the day, so this is historically accurate :P

Really?  I know the Egyptians and some other really ancient cultures did that, but I thought the later civilizations married cousins, not sisters.

Cousins, sisters, whats the difference, it gives me the creeps. But yeah it was still fairly common, or atleast not frowned on...

End of Lord's quote

The English royalty did it. A lot. Most of the modern day royalty (the majority of which has roots in England) are the results of such. Several other groups did it as well - a slightly more modern instance would be a fairly prominent wealthy family of bankers and traders (or some such) who intermarried to keep the fortune in the family.
