[Idea] More cataclysmic maps + streams

It would be great to have maps that have giant chasms across them. Or have different elevations of land like after an earthquake. Or possibly land that is floating around in the sky because the cataclysm has changed gravity in spots. Have towers of stone (like Devil's Tower) in the middle of an otherwise flat piece of land. We need volcanoes and strips of land that is covered in magma and vast oceans.

Would be nice to have rivers and the ability to use them like roads to go inland or towards the ocean. Would also be great to have some rivers drain into cracks that have opened up because of all the magic unleashed.

These things would be great.

More variation in landforms in general, More fertile land spots near rivers than away from them, and the "remains of epic destruction" would be fantastic.

Especially when you get really high-level spells and can create the effects that caused those terrain inconsistencies in the first place.

Yeah fertile rivers and river basins would be great. So many possibilities and it would add alot of depth to the game as well as making it feel more like a destroyed world.

Even have magic or some form of research to be able to cross these chasms and fly up to the floating rocks in the sky.

Slightly OT but I find the beginning quests don't really fit with the "postapocalyptic fantasy" theme.  It's supposed to be a shattered wasteland but for some reason there are taverns and rich estate owners that need escorts? I think quests need a revamp.

Having various Z-scores would be great ... at least if the Z scores mattered.

Also, having elevation slopes on tactical battles (Z-scores for tactical tiles), and having it effect the "to hit" rolls during battle. (higher ground usually being better, at least for archers)
