Top Ten ideas to improve EWoM:
1. The user interface buttons are too big. We can still see them.
2. Stop generating names that are pronounceable. Throw some obscure symbols in there and lay off the vowels.
3. If any sovereign dies anywhere, the computer on which the game is being played should immediately self-destruct.
4. Tone down the dazzling orgy of colors across the board. If you can still name the color, then it's too bright.
5. Add more intriguing but ultimately pointless elements to the game to keep players guessing and on their toes. Hero charisma does absolutely nothing? Ha ha, you got me.
6. I can't believe in this day and age we still have some racist elements in our games. All races should be 100% identical.
7. Don't expand or flesh out the dynasty system any further. If the lackluster buzz surrounding the upcoming 'A Game of Thrones' HBO series has taught us anything, it's that the intrigues of warring and backstabbing family dynasties is simply not entertaining.
8. Having taken the bold step of abandoning most boring gaming conventions regarding the movement of units on a TBS map (displaying movement path, turn markers, etc), push the envelope and simply make all movements utterly random.
9. Focus on developing campaigns. That's the best use of your time and effort as most people simply ignore the sandbox.
10. More Cowbell.
I hope this is taken in the spirit it was intended. I love the game and can't wait for it to reach its potential. I'm also very glad that I'll be getting the first two expansions for free.
