why cant I delete stuff!!!?

First of all, i like this game, but its so frustrating the a 4x game that was made by the same people who made the great 4x game of Galactic Civilizations, Got this game wrong. The user interface does not support a 4x play style and numerous other little things make this game almost unbearable. But my main point is WHY CANT I DELETE STUFF.

meaning, I made a couple factions that im not happy with and I tried uninstalling and re installing the game and they are still there, I cant find any way to delete them, same with unit designs. I cant delete them and they always pop up. its just so frustrating that making a mistake with your creations forever puts them in your face and you can get rid of them.

I DELETED AND REINSATALLED THE GAME!!!!!! WHY ARE THEY STILL THERE!!!!!!

In short, its the little things that just pile up and pile up that make this game frustrating and i dont understand how the creators of GalCiv2 can get so much stuff wrong with this fantasy version of almost the same concept. In order for me to take this game seriously some things need to happen.

1. Tha ability to turn off automatic troop design

2. the ability to delete user created troop designs so they no longer pop up

3. the ability to delete user created factions.

4. Add the game concepts that are advertised with the game. like item creation and Huge maps.

5. THIS IS A 4x GAME!!!! add all the user interface options (Like what GalCiv2 has) that are necessary for a 4x Game!!!!

I think this game has alot of potential I just cant believe the makers of Galactic Civilizations 1 & 2 could get so much stuff wrong and left out with a game in the same genre.

In short... this game would be a 10/10 and not just a 5/10 if the makers of this game took from GalCiv2 everything this game was missing, which is ALOT, when it comes to the user interface of what a 4x should have.

Oh..My...Dude, you go into your My Documents > My Games > Elemental > Races

And then select the faction you created and delete it. Done. For the other complaints, they're working on it. Also, GalCiv2 was a very, very different game when it first came out. So the same holds true for Elemental, and so it's all up hill from here.

Yes what Rath3130 said except i think the last folder is Units. They are in a sub folder of your my documents anyway. the idea being you don't lose mods, units, saves if you need to reinstall.

Er... Did you notice that if you create a custom faction the only way to delete it is to actually exit the game and delete manually the XML file? Because if I can delete in game my custom Sovereigns (for those who noticed how), why not factions? I don't think it's something crazy to ask for it to have been there by default.
