[Talents] New Talents for Sovereigns

1. Mystic Link - +1 mana per turn - Cost: 40 points

A sovereign with Mystic Link talent gains a powerful bonus; however, the link has weakened him physically and due to the large point cost; 40 points out of 50, he will lack the skills and attributes of his fellow sovereigns.

2. Drill Master - 25% First Strike Chance for Units in His Army - Cost 10 points

The sovereign overseas the rigorous training of troops under his command. Thus units in an army commanded by him have a 25% to strike first in combat when attacked.

3. Engineer - Fortifications take 30% less time to construct - Cost 5 points.

The sovereign takes a personal interest in the construction of fortifications (Hedge Walls, Forts, Fortresses, Castles) thus reducing their build time by 30%.

4. Attunement: Fire (as suggested by another poster) - Cost 25 points - Fire spells cost -1 mana

5. Attunement: Water - Cost 10 points - Water spells cost -1 mana, other spells cost +1 mana

Hmmm.... really do need stickies for all customization stuff...

Anyways, to add to your's, we really need talents that help out melee sovereigns.  Right now, melee is risky business and has low reward compared to other builds (like pure caster), so we need some talents that would be useful for these guys.  Of course, I'm sure people could find good use for these talents for many other sovereign build.

Nine Lives (10 points) - whenever takes enough damage to reduce him to 0 hit points or below, he is instead reduced to 1 hit point.  This ability can only be used once in any tactical battle.

Glorious Warrior (8 points) - every time the sovereign deals damage with a melee attack in a tactical battle, enemy morale drops and friendly morale rises. 

Spellblade (10 points) - if the sovereign casts a spell on his turn, the move cost of melee attacks is reduced by half for the remainder of the turn.

Blood Magus (11 points) - whenever the sovereign kills any enemy with a melee attack, he gains +2 mana.

Swift and Sure (7 points) - whenever the sovereign is attacked in melee combat, his counter-attack takes place before the enemy's attack.
