[1.08 + hotfix] Cartographer's Tale crashes on Win7-64 (w/latest ATI drivers) upon reload of a different map

Not going to mention all the usual crashes, but the map editor crashes or runs into problems if you simply load up a map, then try loading another one up.  Looks like you may not be clearing out everything before the reload attempt.  (similar thing happened before when loading games within games, but looks like you fixed that)

This is pretty consistant and repeatable - can make the game crash/hang updon 100% of attempts if I want.  (And happened before but was hoping it'd get fixed...)

I sm experiencing this same problem.  It happens when generating a random map too... generates one random map.  Then when you go back and generate a new map, the program hangs.

By the way.  Same setup   Windows 7 / 64 bit.  But using an Nvidia 9800GT.  Latest Drivers.

Same only on XP and 1.09e.. I think its pretty safe to assume its not system conflicts but an issue with the cartographer itself. AFAIK fixing this stuff is on the back burner til they get the core game fixed up

this issue has been around since beta 4 and in both 32 bit and 64 bit windows including xp & 7 (from my own testing) and I also believe in vista(but I do NOT use it so can not confirm), and also affects the tiles designer and the effects designer so badly that I suggest open it ONCE, do what you want to do in ONE item/map/effect/tile, save the EXIT elemental COMPLETELY, and re-load elemental, and yes this does WASTE A LOT OF TIME, but prevents the dreaded CRASH and even more wasted time.
