It's probably a sepcial ability they are trying to use. Right now if an Air Elemental tries to use an ability it crashes my game everytime. ic annot even get past one battle because of it.

Yep, I think that's it. I tried to replay the same battle, and when the troll attacked one of my units -> CTD. I guess the troll tried to use his special ability.
