I can't find anywhere in the nstructions about increasing the number of slots you get. Is there a way? Thanks much...
What slots? Tactical and logistical construction slots? They have planet upgrades just like population does, though a couple of miscellaneous technologies can also do that.
For fleet and capital ship slots, you have to research them. Be careful of increasing fleet slots, since this will actually tax your economy.
For tactical and logistical upgrades, you click on the planet and go to the planetary upgrade menu. This is a bit expensive, so you're usually better off using military units for defense and colonizing new planets to get more space for logistic structures.
Do you mean Fleet Capacity? If you're talking about the ability to build more ships and more capital ships then you need to research increases to it. See the "Fleet Logistics" research menu.
