newbie mod question

I'm a long time pc gamer but have never used mods before. EWOM seems like the perfect game to start to play with mods.

I recently downloaded two maps off of this site as well as Elementerra random map generator and Undead Rising 2.0 from www.elementalgame.info , a fan site.

My question is how do you use these. Obviously you have to put each of these in a certain directory and you have to select "use mods" on the options screen but where exactly do you put these mod files and how do you select which ones to use when starting a game.

hi ozzlok... you simply need to create a new /mods/ folder (ElementalInstallDirectory\mods), and extract the content to that directory.  as you mentioned, make sure you have "enable mods" checked in your options menu...

note: you will need to start a new game for the mods to take effect, and as far as i know, you cant pick and choose - its all or none... :)

interesting? Can you save all the mod files in seperate folders elsewhere on your hard drive and then just copy in the files of the mod you want to use? that way it isn't all or none, just the one you want to use?
