[1.07][BUG] All minor factions house Ogre camps

I've been thinking back on the last 3 games I've played and I've noticed that of the 25 or so minor factions I've encountered, only ONE has had a protected resource that wasn't an Ogre camp, and I think that was an accidental placement of a fire shard because he also had an Ogre Camp. This really can't be right as I can think of several other resources that are just as valuable (shards, crystal, Horses/wargs, Scenic Views, etc...).

Agree, it's not a bug, it's clearly intended but it is a lazy way to conceive those minor factions, since they could be a lot more interesting if their territory had various special bonuses to offer (at least different kind of units, other than ogres). Also they should be a lot more powerful, and theircities should be able to grow once conquered.

Btw, has anyone noticed that you can use diplomacy with minor factions?

Just start diplomacy with one of the majors, and then use left or right button at top, to scroll to other leaders, influcing minor factions.

You can them make tech/trade treatises, or sell them excess resources (since they usually have some excess gold).

Yep. Half the reason Minor Factions exist is to have dynasties with them (and take their 1000 Gilder with your excess Materials)

I noticed and that's part of why I made this post. As a Empire faction you have a small dilemma. Kill the faction to get access to powerhouse troops, or keep them as a source of monetary gain. As a Kingdom Faction, there is no Dilemma, Why would I EVER kill a minor faction. They have no strategic resource I'd ever want, other than money from Material trading and treaties. At least in GalCiv2 the minors all had awesome planets that you probably want regardless of strategic resources or moral leanings.

The second reason I posted this is I read a post somewhere (Think from Frogboy) saying that the minors had rare resources that you'll want like crystals and shards. My Kingdom faction would love to get those... but Ogres are useless.

I think, that their cities also produce Crystals.  So if you have no access to crystals, and in my current game, I didnt.  I took them over as a Kingdom to gain Crystals.

I think this is a bug too...shouldn't at least some of the minor factions be guarding a camp of dudes that works with Kingdoms (a.k.a spiders)?

Yea, that would be cool to have them have a Kingdom usable one too.  And maybe some Fallen minor factions?  Or how about some Fallen heroes?  Nothing but humans.
