Three bugs/flaws

1) More flaw than bug.  There is no hourglass icon when opposing sides are moving, giving the impression of frequent freezing and stuttering.  One should be added.

2) Clicking on level-up notification icons (right side of screen) causes the unit to be highlighted as well.  If in an army, it is easy to unintentionally move the unit without the army.  This behavior should be changed.

3) My opponent (Ulrim or whoever the yellow dwarf-like faction is) somehow gained a stratospherically high power rating, well outside the competitive range of any other faction.  His gildar count was in the high negative numbers.  On a whim I selected the "sum" in negotiation and was able to strip the opponent of almost anything valuable.  When selecting the negative sum using almost any adjustment button (+-1, +-10, +-50), the sum would become an absurdly high negative number.  This reminds me of some odd behavior when working with double floating point variables.

I uninstalled the game after that.  I was enjoying myself, but with errors like that I can't trust the AI or game mechanics.  There's effectively no game to play if it breaks randomly.  I'm sure I'll come back to it once you Stardock guys get things cleaned up.

Will posting in this forum regarding the bugs in the game get to stardock?

Anyway my biggest problem about this game is it crashes after i queue up too much command. It is clicking on several town and select buildings to build too fast or keep on clicking attack on the enemy while waiting for the extremely long attack animation of the archers.

Regarding buildings, the game screen jerks often when i place a buildings so as it jerks my building get place 2 or 3 tiles from where i wanted. This is usually not a problem, but there are instance i want to build in a certain way so my influence can spread faster to the strategic buildings like farm / arcane library etc.

Can stardock do anything about the long attack animation? for instance a second click cancel the animation and just give you the result of the attack?

I also have problems about unit moving without the army when clicking on the screen of the unit. Can the game have a function to lock the unit in a army unless the player click on the shield and select the unit to split?

I don't understand why sometimes the game auto resolve for me instead of allowing me to choose to battle or not. My spell caster enter combat alone and lose to auto resolve, then i equip it with more armor and the game allow me to choose to battle, once i did, i win the battle in the first turn by casting aoe damage spell over and over.

Regarding auto resolve it always make my caster use up its spells even when facing extremely weak enemy that will die in one hit in battle. Can the game have a function in auto resolve of using spells or not? I think by default the players use auto resolve when batting a weak enemy and enter battle with a challenging enemy to get an advantage.

Once i recruit a hero with more than 100 points in essence. I defeat a sovereign and on the next turn i find that i can recruit his daughter with stratospherically high essence, with some more tower of essence her essence hit 300.

I find replenishing essence a very big hassle when i have 6 settlement with that building that give 50% in essence. To replenish 100 essence while regenerating 3 essence per turn takes more than 30 turns. Can the game make essence replenish in percentage instead?

The tactical threshold in the options determines when tactical battles are autoresolved. Set it to 0 and you will always have the choice.
