i can't advance past turn 165 in my current game. i've tried going back to older saves.. no joy. using a custom sovereign and a kingdom faction if that matters.
i've had the same problem with a different game on my desktop machine w/an i7 and a 5870.
Specs:
Win7 Home Premium 64-bit
AMD Phenom II N620 2.8 GHz dual core processor
4 GB DDR3 memory
ATI HD 4250 IGP
Is the turn button grayed out? What about when you exit Elemental, then load the save game again? Can you please save your game to dropio and post the link? Also, your debug.err file under:
%userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Elemental

Generally stuck turns are caused by units on autoexplore that are not using up their moves. Boats seem particularly prone to this. Checking any unmoved units (yellow outlined in the list at the left of the screen) and using up their moves should allow you to continue.
