*BUMP* [BUG Please respond - risk of dammaging speekers] Intro screen dosen not read preferances.

The intro screen *MUST* read and use the sound preferences from the game, it is still running independent of them. I have all my sound turned down to 5, and its about where I like it, the intro screen when I go to show this to friends nearly blows my computers 5.1 apart.

I have requested this more then once though the beta, please fix it, or buy me a much bigger 5.1 system that can handle this :D

Another useful feather would be an "all" slider for the sound options, please think these over.

Maybe for your next beat release, build in "TOB" reply option for the star-dock employees, where they just hit one button and it automatically posts "Suggestion has been take on board", so we know someone has at lest read the post, as we never seem to know if anyone has read these unless major discssion has evoved to the point of brining you guys in on it.

End of quote

+1 to flag "read and taken into consideration" button, also "accepted" or "rejected" would be fine.

Or something like public ticket tracking system, since even 1.08 is pretty much beta.

All issue reports are collected and passed on to the devs.

Thanks for a responce, but often it dosent seem like some of them are, take the bug where the cloth map disapres when you access differnt screens, that somethign that shoudl of been fixed when reproted in beta, but is still around, it and others jsut seem to be eitehr sidlined for long times or forgoten.

If I'm understanding the OP correctly, this seems to be a common problem.  I normally use ear buds to listen to games, and hence have the volume turned way down.  Well, Dragon Age Origins, for example, also ignores the sound settings when it puts up its splash screen, and if I forget about that I have to rip the ear buds out to keep my eardrums from being blown out.  Once the game starts it's ok, but that splash screen sound is a killer.  Same with Oblivion.
