A Frequent Crash Problem

Hi there,

Have been experiencing a rather frequent crash straight to the desktop. Seems to be fine for about 200 turns, and then it just happens. Following that, as I reload and continue playing the game, the duration between each crash typically gets shorter and shorter, like possibly between another 20-30 turns after the reload (although I have experienced a longer duration; it is rare).

Additionally, it typically occurs after a battle when the screen transitions back to the map, although it does occur during battle at times.

Also immediately after the crash and back to windows, it takes a while to close the program, about 3-5 minutes. No idea if this is relevant but thought I should just mention it.

Hi there,

Just wondering if I should post this in an email or something to support instead of the forums? It's been a week, and I understand that the developers are busy, but it would be good to know if anyone from the support side has actually even read or taken a look or not.

Everything in the support forum gets rounded up for the developers to review. We typically reply if we need additional info, have a workaround, or if it's already fixed for the next update when it's posted, but they get read regardless.

Kryo, thank you for the explainations on the process, I really appreciate it. I was just worried that it have been missed as I really enjoy the game, and am looking forward to further developments, but this problem is really become rather annoying.


MensEtManus: I'm sure we're not the only ones, but I'm confident that a resolution to this will be available soon and we'll be able to enjoy the game uninterrupted.
