[1.0.7][Bug??] Raline the Weaver

I apologize if this was posted already, and not sure if this is a bug or some sort of an inside joke, but my large map custom kingdom/custom sovereign campaign has 11 instances of the NPC Raline the Weaver. All of them are merchants, and all have essence (ranging from 1 to 27 at the time of hire). They all look and dress differently though. I am, of course, not sure if I collected them all so far.

I don't recall seeing any other NPC doubles in this play-through.

It can kind of work into the story as if they're either magical clones or some sort of a sect that takes on the same name, but still... kind of weird.

 

On a potentially related note, is it me or some of the champs are easter eggs? Could've sworn I've seen some Lovecraftian and anime (Slayers?) references...

are you married to one of those ralines?  because i am married to lady sculla, and i am constantly finding Baby(baby on the card, full size in tacbat) lady scullas that eventually grow up with different bodies, as if they were our children...

Ah, true... Raline is the sovereign's spouse. They do appear as baby cards too.

yeah,  noticed that bug a long time ago.  just think of them as your children.  i never bothered to reported it because i figured there were far worse things for the designers to work on than birth control.  who are they to tell me i can only have 4 children?

If you could just see them as children, then it would be fine, but they had very very weird stats in my last game. More like a demi-god than a child. Basically they had the same stats as their level 8 and fully equiped father ... but at level 1 and without any gear at all. And they got his modified essence value as their base value resulting in something around 4,000 essence points taking shards and temples into account.

Seemed just a tiny bit weird. *evil grin*
