Weird Dynasty occurance

I was playing a game and had one of my sons marry the first born daughter of the Kraxis. She was listed as first in line to the throne of Kraxis. I ended up going to war with Kraxis and wiping out the Kraxis and i nioticed shortly after that the daughter (who was in my main city) was now listed as a soverign of Kraxis. But there was no Kraxis empire for her or me to rule but i thought it was strange that the game would now name her the soverign of an empire that no longer existed.

I had something along those lines happen to me in my current game.

My Sovereign's offspring married into another faction's family fairly early on.  That nation, shortly after the marriage, ceased to exist in a war with another NPC kingdom.   This is well and good.

And then children happened!

Which was going to be better, until about half of my Sovereign's grandchildren decided to align themselves with the nation that no longer existed.   So basically they stand at my capital city, unmoving, unanimated by any kind of AI, uncontrollable by me.  In the dynasty screen, it even shows the proper line of succession for that kingdom!   Except the AI seems to have been shut off permanently.

Now, it'd be pretty cool, I admit, if the kids, growing up, heard tales of from their mother of their glorious, now lost empire, and, upon growing to adulthood decided to strike out on their own and reclaim their birthright or somesuch.  But it... doesn't seem to be working out that way!   ^_^

Perhaps it will be fixed and upon slaying a sovereign, as in OP's case, the daughter would rule the empire and be a vassal to her mother.

That'd be freaking awesome !

Any ideas on if/when it'd be added mods ?

In my game, the daughter that married into my family, and became "soverign of Kraxis" after kraxis was eliminated, was still under my control. At that point i basically had 2 soverigns although her level was fairly low because she was never developed.

Dynasty is in need to some love.  SO much potential there. I'd like to be able to manipulate the tree so that the various offspring do not overlap.  If an offspring dies, it needs a red line through the portrait, or something (maybe even a cause of death). I am trying to see now if it is worth marrying off your sons vs. daughters to see what the return on grandchildren is. Lastly, the wife of the sovreign dying stops you from marrying again, but can she be traded/divorced for more marriage potential?

Bug: the age thing..  please fix that.
