How To Give Items To Others

Like the title says, how do I give a sword or any other equipment to one of my heros?

They need to be in the same stack or tile, then hit T to open the trade window, select the item, and hit Trade.

Actually, they can also be on tiles next to each other, to trade.

Also, under "Actions" there is a button.
